Sheila M Perry, broker and owner, is an Avery County native, and has over 20 years experience in real estate sales. Her intimate knowledge of High County real estate has made her a top producer for many years. She also teaches real estate pre-licensing classes for the Dan Mohr Real Estate Schools.  Sheila's  husband  Jim Perry is also a broker and is the owner of Linville Area Mountain Properties (LAMP) in Linville.  Jim works mainly in Linville Land Harbor and has been associated with that resort  since  the opening in 1969. Jim and Sheila are the proud parents of one son, James Braxton Perry, II.   Braxton is the designer of this web page and designs and sets up all computer and media programs for SMP  Properties.

Joining SMP Properties in 2006, Donna Shell Grindstaff and husband Lewis reside in Minneapolis. She is committed to sharing her love and knowledge of the area with clients and customers wishing to call the High Country home.

Mary M. Perez, Sheila 's sister and a native of the area, lives in High Point but is a frequent visitor to the High Country, and also works as an Associate Broker with SMP Properties.  Mary recently retired from Fairfield Resorts as one of their ALL TIME TOP PRODUCERS.

Associate Mark Summers comes to us from Statesville and resides in Boone. He is the resident expert in construction and building supplies. He loves to fish so talk to him about houses close to the prime fishing spots.

Also joining SMP in 2006 is Associate Christy Cook, presently living on Sugar Mt (and building a new home) with her husband and son.

Associates Fred and Karen Buchsbaum have homes on Linville Ridge  and in Florida.   Newest to the area they are looking forward to helping others find their own mountain magic.

Harry Smith, a native of Banner Elk joined SMP Properties in 2006. A long time real estate agent and surveyor his familiarity with the area and real estate trends are an asset to his customers and clients.

Recently licensed and eager to help others, Michael Coffey is a High Country native and avid outdoorsman.    

Associates Frank and Sally Nooney reside in the Matney community. Sally, a former Florida real estate agent, and Frank are both active in the arts and cultural activities of the area.
